Impacting Election Day 2006
Based on Jesus' teachings, if He were in America preparing for Election Day 2006, it would be safe to say that He would register to vote, encourage others to do the same, and then vote for the candidates who most closely represent His values. He would also pray for God’s will to be done in the election. Since we are followers of Jesus, shouldn’t we do the same? The Bible says: “Christ…is your example. Follow in His steps” (1 Peter 2:21).
